Equal Technology Solutions LLC (“Equal Tech Solutions”, “we”, “our”) operates equaltechsolutions.com. This page explains what information the website collects, how it is used, who else receives it, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

Contact form. Your name, email, phone (if provided), company, topic, and message. The form sends them to our business inbox by email through our email delivery provider, SMTP2GO.
Newsletter sign-up. Your email address, sent to our inbox the same way so we can add you to our updates.
Free cyber scan. The email address or business domain you enter is sent to breach-intelligence services (Hudson Rock, XposedOrNot, LeakCheck, ProxyNova and breach.vip) to look up whether it appears in known public data breaches. We show you the results; if you then ask us to follow up, the results summary and your contact details come to our inbox like a contact form.
Live chat. Our chat window is provided by Chaport. Messages and any details you type into it are processed by Chaport so we can reply.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, referring page) to deliver and secure the site. The analytics, advertising and chat services described below collect usage information through cookies and similar technologies.

Cookies and similar technologies

These are the cookies and browser storage the site uses, by provider. Durations are the longest we observed; most are renewed when you return.

Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used): _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day), _cltk in session storage, and Microsoft cookies on clarity.ms (CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, SM, MR).
Microsoft Advertising (measuring our Bing ads): _uetsid (1 day) and _uetvid (about 13 months), mirrored in browser storage, plus Microsoft cookies on bing.com (MUID, MR, SRM_B).
Chaport (live chat): a chaport-… cookie (about 1 year) and wsc_… browser storage that keep your chat session and history.

The analytics, Clarity, Microsoft Advertising and chat tools start on your first interaction with a page (or a few seconds after it loads). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site still works without them.

Our blog and resources pages may show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
